Job Description: Sr. Financial Analyst - Buena Vista Home Entertainment

Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Inc. (BVHE), a recognized leader in the home entertainment industry, is the marketing, sales and distribution company for The Walt Disney Studios. BVHE distributes Disney, Touchstone Pictures, Miramax Films, and television titles in the United States and Canada.

The Finance department is an integral part of BVHE's success, supporting the growth and decision-making of all functional areas of the division with flexibility and integrity. Responsibilities:
- Creates financial models and P&L's to forecast revenue, expenses, and profits for all distributed products and the division as a whole
- Provides analytical support in preparation of the annual budget, annual five-year strategic plan and monthly forecasts.
- Prepares profit forecasts and what-if, breakeven, and trend analyses related to the following: the current business, alternative marketing / distribution scenarios, potential acquisitions, and new technologies
- Manages lifetime P&L's for each title

Qualifications:
- 2-4 years business planning or Finance experience
- Bachelors degree required, Finance or Economics preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; macros and spreadsheet experience; advanced Excel modeling skills and ability to streamline models
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Home Video experiences a plus. Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) background preferred
- Experience with SAP, Microstrategy (or similar applications), and Essbase preferred, but not required; experience with AC Nielsen preferred, but not required
