Senior Manager Design Halo

Job Description: Design product lines and develop visual merchandising strategies for Disney Home branded initiatives: Walt Disney Signature and Halo - across department and specialty accounts.

Deliver trend and material forecast, strategic creative and compelling product

Building luxury and fashion product collections

Partner with core business team to identify and assess manufacturers capable of producing quality product on an accelerated timeline

JOB responsibilities:

Responsible for developing creative & product design vision for Walt Disney Signature and halo initiatives to achieve annual financial targets

Identify global trends: Color, materials, product and formulate presentations that communicate market influences appropriate for Disney Home fashion product lines

Oversee product design from concept through production for the Walt Disney Signature & Halo

Develop pitch materials and sample product mock ups as necessary

Work with project management to determine timelines and budget for related projects & pitches

Provide creative consistency for artwork and character storytelling

Provide graphic and product design guidelines to licensees to support product development

Share best practices with regional teams across WDS and halo initiatives

Provide art direction for POS and Sales/Marketing collateral to support brand launches

Understand and educate internal /external clients on the Disney brand equities

Represent the team in meetings, pitches and presentations as needed

Drive nominated halo creative initiatives x-LOB

EXPERIENCE:

8-10 years creative experience in the home decor, textiles or furnishings

Experience with visual merchandising and product styling

Experience with global organization advantageous

Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop & Illustrator

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree with emphasis in visual communication and/or product design

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

A background in licensing essential

Commercially astute

A team player and problem solver

Self-starter & tenacious

Temperament to work under tight deadlines

Ability to travel
