By achieving these goals, we will play a meaningful role in reversing the long-term negative trends in college graduation rates and graduate employment statistics. Since 1998, we have reached more than 10 million students!
What is the Speaker/Presenter position?
As a flexible contractor speakers work on an ?as needed? basis traveling to various high schools delivering our free, interactive program "Making College Financing Count? to parents. The content of the program is provided to the speaker.
How Does It Work?
Our Program Coordinators contact schools daily signing them up for our FREE program. Once a school has scheduled a presentation, a Regional Manager will contact the speaker to see if they are available to deliver the program. Speakers are generally contacted three to four weeks prior to the presentation.
How Many Presentations Will I Give?
The average speaker will deliver between 10 - 15 presentations depending on the following:
*school sign-ups in your area
*your speaking ability
*your availability to deliver the program effectively
*your schedule flexibility (travel, driving, overnight trips, flights)
What are you looking for in the "Making College Financing Count" speaker?
*Bachelor's degree
*Ability to speak to and engage large audiences of parents and educators (100-800)
*Excellent public speaking skills
*Vocal projection and variance
*Strong stage presence and image of professional success
*Background in business and/or finance preferred
*Ability to lead and manage post-presentation focus groups
*Able to personalize technical information

What is the compensation?
We offer compensation between $150 and $250 based upon the distance traveled. This rate includes mileage. As this is a contract position, it is a flat rate of pay and speakers are given a 1099 at the end of year to file accordingly. Should a presentation require an overnight stay, flight or car rental, we would make arrangements and cover all of the expenses. In addition, we offer an all-expenses paid professional speaker training. This includes flight/travel expenses, hotel accommodations and meals.
