Job Description: Senior Analyst Billing and Rating


We're Disney Mobile - Disney's newly formed wireless venture, imagined and built at the Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG), the online division of the Walt Disney Company, and we're in need of a talented and experienced professional to assist our leadership with an exciting new product and service offering.

We're looking for a senior level billing/rating analyst to assist in the planning and implementation of a new wireless venture. Position will offer a significant opportunity for personal growth as the business matures.

The Senior Analyst Billing and Rating provides deep subject matter expertise for Disney Mobile in the functional areas of wireless billing and rating. This role provides detailed functional and business process support to both internal and external organizations as required to ensure Disney Mobile's release plans and ongoing operations are meeting business needs. A key component of this role is creating, validating, and prioritizing business requirements. This includes significant coordination with the OSS/BSS vendor to ensure requirements are being implemented in a fashion acceptable to the business, validation of vendor-supplied estimates, and support for vendor requests of Disney Mobile. This role will also provide subject matter expertise to Disney Mobile's integration testing team.

This role leads or drives: requirements definition, including use cases, activity diagrams, and screen mockups when necessary; providing direction and clarification to developers, project managers, and testers on billing and rating requirements and issues; validation and estimation of tasks; defining duration of key tasks to support planning, prioritization, and workload management; coordination with business,architecture, and testing stakeholders of billing and rating functional requests and enhancements; validation that user requirements are met in delivered solution components; and demonstration of completed billing and rating functionality as appropriate to stakeholder groups within Disney Mobile.


Specific responsibilities will include:

Billing and rating requirements development, management, and business approval

Providing billing and rating subject matter expertise within the business and to the vendor

Validation of vendor deliverables and tests to ensure compliance with Disney Mobile's needs

Issue management and resolution within Disney Mobile and the vendor


Qualifications:

5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing rating and billing applications

Demonstrated knowledge in the technologies and business processes that compose billing and rating solutions

Ability to work with the business in the development and articulation of business requirements

Review and validation of vendor estimates for individual requirements or overall release deliveries

Experience in wireless business applications and support systems

Experience working with vendor providers a plus

Bachelors Degree in business or technical field required
