Sr. Director, Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY :   This is key position within the Product and Marketing organization and shall be responsible for developing a strategic marketing vision including company and brand strategy and positioning, merchant & consumer acquisition and retention, analytics, marketing operations and processes.

Key Responsibilities:



 

Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans (PR, Direct Marketing, Sales Marketing) which help Citysearch accomplish business objectives and drive key performance indicators.

 

Research: Responsible for driving all facets of primary and secondary research to support consumer and merchant product development efforts

 

Segmentation: Apply research and segmentation analysis for both consumers and merchants and develop targeted marketing programs

 

Program Development: Creating and implementing new programs (loyalty, affiliate, merchant guarantee) which strengthen the Citysearch brand and drive the business forward

 

Messaging: Develop core messaging points and enforce consistency and compliance across the organization

 

Measurement: Analytic approach to marketing to measure the performance, impact, and ROI of all marketing related activities.  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  Education/Certifications

 

? Undergraduate degree in Marketing, MBA preferred

? Strong strategic thinker with experience developing and managing marketing plans

? Research background and strong quantitative approach to marketing

? Experience managing or working within agencies

? Program development experience, driving projects from concept to implementation

? Strong track record of leading and managing teams

? Superior written and verbal communication skills

 Professional Qualifications

? A successful track record of exceptional marketing experience for a minimum of 7 to 10 years operating as at a senior level business partner. 

? Demonstration of sustained success, as evidenced by client groups profitable growth in which you were the leader of the HR function. 

? Direct experience working in interactive media and technology is desirable.

? Accustomed to working in a rapidly-changing, high growth environment and able to provide leadership engendering drive and team cooperation while being fully
