Technical Editor

Engineers: Technical Editor for Magazine and Web Site

 

Putman Media is seeking full-time technical editors to research and write feature articles, columns, and edit contributed material for our magazines and web sites. Candidates must have the capacity and motivation to manage multiple projects, express themselves clearly, be comfortable meeting with and interviewing industry experts, and produce quality, reader-useful editorial content under pressure.

 

Five plus years of technical experience, literacy with MS Office, high comfort with the Internet, functional knowledge of/experience in manufacturing automation industries, a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or journalism, and an interest in effective communications. Some travel to industry events to meet readers and vendors.
