Technical Illustrator

Summary of Position: 

Responsible for developing illustrations/graphics to support layouts of artwork for use in brochures, catalogs, presentations, packaging, manuals, and other marketing literature.  Must be deadline-driven and able to manage multiple projects.

 

Essential duties:Coordinate with other team members to provide and maintain illustrations and graphics for assigned projectsCreate illustrations/graphics and type layouts for packaging Create and maintain type layouts of UPC labelsCreate and update product information sheetsWork with copywriter to QC packaging and manualsMaintain running list of current packaging graphics

 

Qualifications, Education, Experience:Strong illustration experience and talent with the ability to design and recreate logos and artwork.Strong Mac proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and QuarkXpress. Experience working with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus.Results-oriented team player.Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and/or exemplary work history relevant to job description.
