Technical Writer, Mid

Key Role: Develop all forms of technical materials for the Active Directory Exchange project at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for an audience of DHS Chief Information Officers, senior management and staff, and military commanders. Develop documents, including project charters, system requirements and descriptions, SOW’s, proposals, whitepapers, technical presentations with system diagrams, communications plans, and project plans. Work in a fast paced environment, take direction, have a detail oriented approach, and work with a minimal level of supervision, and produce documents that will receive a high level of visibility across the organization.



Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with technical writing

-Experience with the federal government

-Knowledge of IT systems and email

-BA or BS degree

 

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

Clearance:
