Technology Editors (6-12 Mathematics)

The Glencoe division of McGraw-Hill Education has immediate openings for a Technology Editor position in our Math Department to work in-house. The level and pay range is based on experience and qualifications.

 

This individual will assist in the planning, production, and overall coordination of the Mathematics technology products. This would include activities such as tracking and logging work flow at all stages, maintaining budgets, updating weekly technology status reports, and meeting all intermediate and final schedules. Additional responsibilities may include managing vendors, analyzing competition, quality control, and other projects as assigned.



The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: Bachelor's degree with a major in Math or Mathmatics education required. The candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities. The successful candidate must be a team player, organized and detail and deadline oriented. Strong computer skills are a requirement including knowledge of PC and MAC platforms. A good working knowledge of a variety of computer applications is required. Strong Internet skills including the ability to research on the web and knowledge of web site structure are also required. Previous experience producing educational software products is a plus. Familiarity with production of textbooks and ancillary materials is also desired. This individual will report to the Supervising Editor for Technology, PreK-12 Mathematics.
