We are a leading supplier to national retail chains serving the home furnishings market?located in South Bay area.?Our fast paced environment has a challenging opportunity for an experienced Visual Merchandising Production Assistant (VMA)?who is excited about bringing new ideas and positive energy to work!!!

The VMA?will work directly with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Director?in developing and executing design?projects.?

?

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Production of graphic art to support sales and marketing promotional materials including In-House Printing

-Create catalog sheets and format them for company online usage

-Production photography--includes photography of company products and retouching

-Operating scanner to create high quality B/W & 4-color scans

-Assist in the production of print-ready material for company packaging as well as customized packaging for clients

-Manage and coordinate other projects and duties as assigned by VM manager

Position Requirements:BA/BS preferred; may substitute for trade certification(s), experience and strong portfolio2-3 years working experience in a Graphics/Design EnvironmentHighly proficient on MAC/PC including?Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and Quark XpressPrevious experience in design and layout of catalog pages--retouching and effects in PhotoshopMust have knowledge of print mediaStrong Print Production knowledgeIntermediate to advance knowledge in typography, photography and layoutProfessional digital camera experience a must
