Women's Knitwear Designer

Seeking a trendy, cutting edge Women?s KNITWEAR designer with 2-4 years of experience for an established contemporary clothing company. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of garment dye; relationship with dye houses, creation of colors, and knowledge of various dye processes is absolutely necessary! Must be able to manage a small team: an assistant designer, patternmaker and sample maker; delegation of daily duties and pristine time management is crucial. This designer will also have a broad knowledge of worldwide couture and ready-to-wear trends, local (L.A.) styles, boutiques, and trend forecasting. This position offers a comparable salary with bonus? and a clothing allowance.
