SUMMARY



The primary purpose of this position is to assist in managing an auto parts store. In the absence of, or at the direction of the Store Manager, the First Assistant Manager provides customer service, maximizes sales, maintains a balanced inventory, protects company assets, and maintains a positive and safe store environment.



SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS



BILINGUAL HIGHLY PREFERRED!!

First Assistant Managers must possess substantial sales skills, and strong human relations skills to effectively manage store associates and ensure satisfied customers. Effective verbal and written communication skills, basic mathematical and computer skills including but not limited to using a keyboard and mouse are required. First Assistant Managers must have good organizational skills and a basic understanding of the financial and economic characteristics of the store. The ability to understand and act on written information is required. First Assistant Managers must have the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
