We are a family owned and operated auto repair / maintenance / tire facility that has served a "mid-sized" town north of Denver for over 33 years.  The owner is still active in the business, and continues to promote the values, ideals, and integrity that has allowed us to thrive, and continue to grow.  Before you consider this position, you must consider the kind of work environment you want:

About the position:

We are seeking one full time ASE Certified technician.  Please note that we do not desire a ?mechanic?, a ?wrench?, or a ?gear head?.  While mechanical skills are required for the position, as well as the necessary tools to perform your daily tasks, today?s auto repair requires complex problem solving and computer diagnostic skills.  Our facility prides itself on our ability to rapidly, efficiently, and CORRECTLY diagnose complex automotive issues the FIRST time!

 

A technician with the tools, experience, and knowledge to perform repairs on Asian and European vehicles is preferred.

 

Qualifications:

21 Years of age (insurance requirement to drive vehicles)

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Ability to stand, when necessary for a full shift

High School Diploma or equivalent (College PREFERRED)

Strong Drive for Achievement

Willingness to learn?about yourself and others!

Coachability ? willing to learn new ways to think

Basic math skills

STRONG Verbal skills

Probably the most important qualification for this position is that you have the right attitude, values, and desire to work for the best, and be the best in your field!

 

Other information:

Training is not optional at our facility.  Each employee is expected to continually explore new opportunities.  We sponsor all training, provided that it is planned in advance and agreed upon by yourself and management.  Sometimes training will take place on weekends; sometimes in the evening.  We will do our best to accommodate your personal schedule and circumstances?the expectation is that you will dedicate yourself to constant improvement.  On average, you can expect to read one training book / self-improvement / management book per month, on a continual basis.
