ASSISTANT MATERIALS MANAGER

Job Summary: Northeastern Indiana company making components for the automotive industry needs a sharp Assistant Materials Manager with 3-7 years experience.  The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (required), strong MRP experience, a QS 9000/TS 16949 background with proven strengths in a Lean Manufacturing, JIT, union environment.  Company needs someone who is hands-on, an experienced supervisor, and who strives for excellence.  Need strong leadership skills, the ability to assume responsibility and lead in problem resolution.  This is an outstanding growth opportunity for the right person.

 

Qualifications:

?  Bachelor's degree required

?  3-7 years experience in Materials

?  Strong MRP experience

?  QS 9000/TS 16949 automotive background preferred

?  Proven strength in Lean Manufacturing and JIT

?  Supervisory experience required as well as union experience

?  Good written and verbal communication skills
