AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTION MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Production Manager to grow our modern production facility.  Ability to oversee all aspects of the business.  Great opportunity for the right person.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct activities  of the Collision Center to ensure vehicles are repaired and painted to meet quality standards and customer or account requirements.

Oversee maintenance and protection of shop equipment.

Provide and maintain safe work environment by explaining, monitoring and enforcing safety procedures

Maintain and develop Collision Center Staff and their professional and technical knowledge by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and by providing educational opportunities.  Counsel and discipline employees as necessary.  Plan, monitor and evaluate job performance and conduct performance appraisals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  EXPERIENCE

 Minimum 3 to 5 years of body shop and/or vehicle repair experience required. Ability to oversee all aspects of a production repair facility.

 

  COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

Must have strong communication and interaction skills required.  Competent management and excellent organizational skills required.  ICAR and insurance contacts a plus.

 

  ACCOMPLISHMENTS (Degrees, Certifications, Languages)

Industry certification a plus
