Administrative Assistant

A large established transportation company in Farmingdale, New York is looking for an experience Administrative Assistant to join their successful team.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

1. Preparation of Proposals - Create/Maintain proposal template and content and coordinate proposal with sales person

 

2. Creation of various reports including but not limited to cost sheets, customer care plans, and scheduled annual customer reviews

 

3. Research accounts for sales force

 

4. Ensure proper VCN's/Vehicle Tracking using VA Daily Report

 

5. Monitor and update new account activity and various other reports

 

6. Customer support function including preparing anniversary gifts for customers, organize sales material, and other marketing activities

 

 

Job Qualifications

 

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

 

2. 2+ years of Ryder experience preferred but not necessary

 

3. Knowledge of vehicle specifications, and cost sheet and proposal preparation

 

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of RIDE, CATS, SAM, FIS, Options, VP97, RMDS, Maintenance Info Center, and SOM strongly preferred

 

5. Excellent communication skills and extremely detailed oriented
