  As a small-town dealership, Sandlin Motors offers a lower-stress working environment than any dealer in the Metroplex or larger town ever could: while still fast-paced, you will not find the same intense pressure to overextend as you will in larger automotive markets.  In support of our more casual approach, we have a relaxed dress policy.  Additionally, Mt. Working Environment

Unlike some other dealerships with oversized sales teams splitting a limited number of customers, Sandlin Motors recruits only a select number of dedicated individuals.  This approach allows each sales team member to service a maximum number of customers?and thus earn maximum commission. Our sales hours run from 8AM-6PM, shorter than the standard 8-to-8 workday.  Family time for our employees is important to us; we are closed on Sunday, and rotate the abbreviated Saturday staff.

Position Summary

The Sales Consultant assists customers in determining and meeting their needs when buying a vehicle.  From initially greeting or contacting the customer to delivering the vehicle, the Sales Consultant is instrumental in helping consumers purchase automobiles.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

?  Maintains professional appearance and demeanor

?  Possess superior communication and customer service skills

?  Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot

?  Completes product and sales training courses as requested by Sales Manager

?  Maintain and demonstrate strong knowledge base of all new vehicle makes and models

?   Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that all paperwork is complete and  the customer understands the vehicle's operating features

?  Follow up on sales leads

 

 

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or equivalent combination; automotive sales experience preferred, but we will train as necessary

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

The employee must possess a Texas Driver?s License and legal documentation to work in the United States (if not a citizen).
