Salary:

$20.26 to start

2 year progression to top pay rate of $28.15

Scheduled increases

Night differential pay if applicable

8 Hours per Day ? Overtime Pay After 8 hours ? Some Overtime Available

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a minimum three to five years automotive experience as a complete vehicle mechanic. Experience with brakes, engines, transmissions, clutches, electrical systems, differentials, and preventive maintenance is required.  Truck and fleet experience is preferred. Applicant must be willing and able to work various shifts that may include nights or evenings. Must have own hand tools. Must currently possess or be able to obtain a class B CDL license in the near future.

Degree Preferred:
High School or Technical, or College Degree

Majors Preferred:
Automotive Repair or Automotive Technology

Job Description:
UPS is currently seeking an experienced automotive mechanic. Work may involve gasoline and diesel repairs in light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles. Must be able to pass D.O.T. physical. Able to operate manual transmission vehicles. Must be able to work independently and with appropriate judgment. Must be able to work in an environment that will contain variable temperatures and humidity. Will be exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, and noises.
