Napa Auto Care Center is a full service repair facility that provides complete automotive repair services ranging from oil changes to engine and transmission replacements as well as on board diagnostics, A/C repair suspension repair and alignment plus a  full schedule of maintenance services.

Master Tech requirements are: A1,A2,A3,A4,A5,A6,A7,A8,L1, Emission Certification and A/C systems experience are a must.

Candidate must be a self starter and have his/her own tools.

 

EP requirements are:  A1,A4,A5,A6,A7,A8 and L1

SHOP TECHNICIAN requirements; A5 and A4 and any combination of 2 of the following A1,A6,A7,A8 and Safety Equipment certification.

Candidate Musy be a self starter and have his/her own tools.

Purpose:

Maintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles.



Duties:

* Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.



* Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.



* Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.



* Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.



* Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.



* Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.



* Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.



* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.



* Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
