Chemist/Lab Technician

Established in 1972 in Long Beach, California, TABC/Toyota is the oldest Toyota North American manufacturing company.  TABC/Toyota produces sheet metal components, spare parts, catalytic converters, coated catalytic substrates, and steering columns for Toyota’s North American Manufacturing Facilities and for export to Japan and Canada.  TABC/Toyota is also involved in the assembly of the first, U.S. produced Hino commercial truck.

Main job duties include but are not limited to:

 

Job Duties

 Chemical Analysis, in-process  quality checks and finished goods quality confirmation Maintenance of Lab equipment Maintain lab inventory - equipment & supplies Provide support for 8P/Rh/85D preparation, slurry preparation, WWT (Waste Water Transfer) & PMR (Precious Metal Recovery)

 

 



 





B.S. in Chemistry Chemical handling/Lab experience preferred Equipment calibration knowledge preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work in a team environment is very important.
