Compensation / HRIS Analyst
SUMMARY
Provides key user level systems support for HR through reporting and acts as an interface for development and problem solving to the IT organization with particular emphasis on benefits administration. Provides service to Continental Tire?s NAFTA organization promoting a unified compensation infrastructure through the use of consistent Compensation practices such as job evaluation, position descriptions, variable compensation administration, etc. Helps to ensure competitive compensation in order to attract, retain, fairly reward and recognize personnel in Continental Tire?s NAFTA organization.
Job Evaluation:
? Ensures the consistent application and administration of the current job evaluation system (Hay). Develops guidelines and recommends policy to ensure the consistent application of the job evaluation process. Writes job evaluation procedures and establishes and communicates internal models for job evaluation.
? Ensures that job evaluations are completed on all salaried positions within the Company?s NAFTA operations and that the evaluation results are maintained in an organized and corporate-wide database.
? When necessary, personally evaluates jobs using the Hay job evaluation system, determines grades and documents all evaluations for future reference. Develops and ensures the maintenance of a CTNA database of position descriptions for all salaried positions.
? Performs periodic audits of the application of job classifications and job grades to individual employees. Ensures that HRIS system accurately reflects current and correct job grade, title, classification, etc.
? Plans and administers the conduct of and/or participation in periodic wage and salary surveys, to include the annual Hay Survey for General Industries. Based on analysis of survey results, recommends changes to base and variable compensation programs to maintain the organization?s compensation objectives and competitive position in the market.
Salary Increase and Variable Compensation Programs:
? Responsible for the administration of employee variable compensation plans. And, under existing plans, calculates variable compensation payments due and works with Payroll to make payments as appropriate.
? Periodically audits sales bonus payments and other variable compensation plans to ensure plan effectiveness.
? Responsible for the administration of the annual salary increase (merit increase) process.
HRIS:
? Maintains the organizational management module for the CTNA organization in SAP
? Maintains data integrity for all HR-related information on SAP.
? Runs all reports and data requests for HR department?key SAP user for HR department with an emphasis on benefits reporting.
? As necessary, performs personnel actions and interacts with payroll department to troubleshoot system related pay issues
? Monitors and ensures integrity of benefits vendor interfaces and file transfer completion.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree.
5 or more years of total professional business experience. At least two years of compensation management/ job evaluation experience. At least two years of experience in benefits plan administration. Systems support experience including Master Data, and Org Management module and Ad Hoc Query. (familiarity with SAP Query tool and some IMG configuration experience preferred)
