PURPOSE:
Communicate, implement and assist dealer parts and service departments through programs, policies and procedures which develop and maintain a well-managed, profitable parts and service department, while developing a long-term professional relationship with dealers in the Phoenix, AZ/Salt Lake City, UT area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Regularly contact dealerships and communicate, implement and administer Parts and Service Department programs, policies and procedures with dealers including attainment of objectives and adherence to the dealer agreement.
2) Monitor and advise Regional management of dealers' adherence to policies and procedures in such areas of Parts Sales, Parts Inventory Control, Service Training, Warranty Administration, Consumer Relations, Customer Satisfaction, etc.
3) Provide recommendations for operational improvements to Dealer and dealership managers, which maximize and increase customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, market penetration and dealer parts and service profitability.
4) Provide guidance and training to dealership personnel in Inventory Control, Service Training, Warranty Administration, Consumer Relations, etc.
5) Provide automotive technical guidance/recommendations to dealership service personnel.
6) Process, resolve and close customer inquiries
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Five years of professional exempt level automotive retail/wholesale experience including three years as a District Parts/Service Manager.
2) At least moderate PC skills including Word, Excel and use of laptops.
3) Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED:
1) Prior automotive retail service experience such as Service Representative, Service/Parts Manager, etc.
2) Prior automotive wholesale experience in positions such as Warranty Auditor, Customer Service, etc.
3) ASE certification in four or more areas.
SPECIAL:
1) Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a company-approved driving record.
2) Considerable travel involved.

Originally established as Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. (MMSA) in 1981, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is the exclusive full-line distributor of Mitsubishi cars throughout North America. Headquartered in Cypress, California, MMNA has expanded its network of dealers from its original 73 outlets in 1982 to over 560 retailers nationwide. The Sales Division of MMNA has approximately 530 employees.
Our subsidiary, Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, Inc. (MMCA), was established to support sales growth by providing innovative and competitive wholesale and retail financial services, including leasing services, to MMSA and their dealers. MMCA has approximately 90 employees.

The majority of the Mitsubishi Motors Sales Division and MMCA employees are located at our Cypress headquarters, Western Region office, or Western Parts Distribution Center (PDC). We also have nationwide "field employees" assigned to our other regional offices in Bridgeport, NJ (Northeastern Region), Orlando, FL (Southeastern Region), or Irving, TX (Southwestern Region). Also, Mitsubishi Motors has PDC's in Swedesboro, NJ, Lithia Springs, GA and Ft. Worth, TX. We have port facilities in Pt. Hueneme, CA, Tacoma, WA, Brunswick, GA, and Baltimore, MD as well as at our Manufacturing Division in Normal, IL.

Because we need to provide outstanding service to our dealers and customers, some departments remain open on certain holidays. In these instances, affected employees receive Holiday Pay in addition to their regular pay.

The amount an employee may be awarded is based on how well employees work individually and collectively to achieve our profitability and sales goals. To assist employees in providing for their long-term financial security, Mitsubishi Motors also offers a fully company-paid retirement plan plus a 401(K) plan.
This position includes a company car. In addition to attractive car purchase plans, our full-time, regular employees may lease from our company up to three brand-new Mitsubishi vehicles simultaneously. This can be one for the employee, one for the spouse and one for a dependent child of legal driving age. The lease, handled through payroll deduction, covers not only the vehicle itself, but also 100% of all service and maintenance, plus insurance. Then at the end of one year of driving the vehicle, or 15,000 miles, whichever comes first, you trade it in and get another brand-new vehicle. You can become very spoiled driving brand-new cars all the time!
