RGBSI is looking for a Design ENGINEER/ Product Engineer (Seats)/ Designer

 

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITON AT DEVENPORT, IA

 

Job Description

 

Project engineer responsible for designing and developing a new seat structure used in heavy-duty truck applications. This position will report to the director of engineering and will be responsible for all aspects of engineering design, testing and validation. This position will require someone very CAD literate that can virtually take a project from the ground running.

 

Requirements

 

* 4year engineering degree or equivalent experience

* 4 to 5 years of Pro-E, Catia, or Unigraphics experience.

* Seating design background including steel or composite structures, foam, plastics etc.

* Basic knowledge of tooling and weld fixtures.

* Experience with sheet metal forming, assemblies, welding, injection molding, GD&T.

* Should have experience in designing mechanisms.

* Must be self-motivated and able to work with on their own.
