NUMBER YR EXPERIENCE:
-6+ Years

Position Description:
-establish concepts
-packaging/feasibility studies
-generate manufacturable 3-D CAD models that will meet and/or exceed the customers requirements within a predetermined time frame -
-create Class A and B-side surfaces for Exterior Lighting Components (Lens / Bezel) that are feasible for manufacturing based on the tooling design and that meet the customer styling requirements
-designer may be asked to collocate with customer for short periods of time

Skills Required:
-must have strong UG NX3 skills in both surface development and solid modeling -
must have experience with GM's TCAE and EWO process
-must be a team player
-must have the ability to give accurate status and progress report on assigned program/project

Experience Required:
-MUST HAVE prior automotive lighting design experience

Experience Preferred:
-strong understanding of plastic design principals for the injection molding process and tooling

Education Required:
-Associate in Design Technology or BMSE (preferred)
-if no degree, practical experience in similar position
