DIESEL TRUCK MECHANIC

 

Burke Distributing Corporation is a family owned company that has been distributing beer and malt beverages since 1935.  We proudly distribute major brands such as:  Coors, Miller, Boston Beer, Beck, Bass Ale, and many more.

 

We have an immediate opening for a Full-time DAY shift mechanic Monday-Friday to join our team to help diagnose/repair our company fleet of 100+ vans, trucks, and trailers. Qualified candidates must have related experience, be true professionals and have own tools.

 

 

Duties include:

 Perform mechanical maintenance/repair of diesel and gas engine systems for a fleet of vans and trucksCoordinate with outside repair shops to complete maintenance that cannot be performed on siteUse proper safety precautions when handling equipment

 

Requirements:

 High school Diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years of experience with diesel engines and basic welding experience requiredGood verbal and written communication skills Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-taskValid drivers license and meet federal DOT requirements.  CDL Class A preferredCandidates must be able to lift/push/pull 70 pounds, regularly climb heavy equipment, kneel, bend and work with arms raised for prolonged periods.
