District Sales Manager based in Chicago

The District Manager is responsible for sales in a specified territory.
Competitive base salary plus an excellent commission plan is offered.



RESPONSIBILITIESSell Company's web-based products to car dealers, including DMS connectivity, electronic contracting and electronic credit applications submission among others Influence/convince about product features benefits and impact at bottom line of car dealerships. Responsible for initiating contacts with car dealers to generate leads through 'cold calls' Responsible for B2B selling to car dealerships Networking for generating referrals from customers. Prospecting Company's products in assigned territory. Acts as a troubleshooter/advisor/consultant to car dealerships. To be the problem solver on technical issues regarding Company's products. Team up with product management team for developing new products. Traveling within assigned territory is required.

REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in car retail sales or in B2B sales 1-3 years of experience working at car dealership 1-3 years of experience selling subscription based products to car dealers Time/territory management skills Ability to build relationships with owners and/or General Managers of car dealerships Networking skills for prospecting and referrals Excellent oral, written, presentation, analytical, and listening skills Knowledge of web-based suscription products Problem solving skills Computer skills are required, including utilization of Internet
