Camping World is currently seeking a dynamic and talented individual for the following exciting opening in our Wilsonville, OR location:

 

Experienced Service Technician (Automotive/RV)

 

Essential Functions Include:

 



? Executes work orders while diagnosing and repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures while determining best product for repair

? Provides ?cradle to grave? customer service

? Keeps track of parts and materials used in repair or replacement activities

? Plans sequence of functions necessary for repair or replacement activities

? Performs duties at company established performance levels 

? Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected by supervisor or designee

? Monitors operation of newly installed equipment

? Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment

? Performs related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level

? Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers

? Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned

? Ability to interpret and memorize operating procedures and governmental regulations

? Ability to handle multiple tasks

? Ability to read and interpret electrical and installation diagrams/instructions

? Ability to make routine decisions in routine situations

? Ability to communicate and resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner

? Accurate listening skills

? Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes

? Ability to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management 

Qualification Requirements Include:

 



 

? High School Diploma with vocational/technical training preferred

? Camping World University graduate, RVIA certification or two to five years of experience as a RV service repair technician

? Working knowledge of activities, methods, procedures and policies of the shop

? Comprehensive product knowledge

? Read, interpret and speak English

? Basic math skills

? Working knowledge of proper and safe use of equipment

? Knowledge of installation and product specifications

? Excellent organizational/sequencing skills

? Familiarization with reading and interpreting diagrams

? Forklift experience/certification preferred or ability to be certified required

? Valid Driver?s License Required
