We are looking for a leader and a manager!? Premier is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. Our goal is to create customized and integrated programs of labor services, technology and materials management that make measurable improvements in our customers' quality, production uptime and total cost.

This individual must have a strong background in Automobile Manufacturing Operations with knowledge of Facilities Maintenance and Paint Operations. ?This account is with a major Automobile Manufacturer in the area.? Our candidate will act as the primary interface between our customer and Premier, to provide maintenance, facilities and subcontracted services, as defined in our service agreement.? This position will provide senior leadership during both the launch phase of the project as well as on-going operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

?

General

????????? Responsible for establishing workforce and community support for the project.

????????? Determines and manages project budget and project schedule.

????????? Responsible for resource utilization, performance measurement and improvement.

????????? Operates the project within budgetary guidelines and reports progress and key performance indicators, including but not limited to safety performance, cost management and continuous improvement on a monthly basis.

????????? Provides strategic operational leadership, input, support and knowledge to other decision-makers to assist in early problem identification. Transfers technical operational knowledge to encourage better decision-making.

????????? Works closely with Corporate Management on status of project.???

????????? Ensures the operation is in compliance with the Premier Systems, Best Practices, Safety initiatives and applicable employment and labor laws.

????????? Responsible for selection, training, assessment and recognition of direct report staff and oversee process for technical cleaners and skilled trades.

????????? Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to manager?s customers, line management, suppliers and other business partners.??

????????? Ensures that all required reporting for both internal and customer needs are produced and delivered timely.

????????? Provide technical knowledge and problem solving skills to encourage better decision making.?

????????? Ensures compliance with applicable laws in the countries, states and communities in which we operate.

????????? Grow business with other suppliers and surrounding community.

????????? Other duties as assigned.

SafetyEnsure the complete safety of everyone in the work environment. Demonstrate role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards as well as portrayal behaviors consistent with the customer?s lean manufacturing culture.

QualityEnsure delivery of maintenance services, subcontractor and management services using root-cause analyses, continuous improvement, and problem solving activities through data driven scientific methods with our customers cross functional teams in all production, maintenance, facilities and subcontracted service areas.

DeliveryDirect & lead the team in all contracted and subcontracted activities using the customer?s developed throughput management, Top 5, Problem Solving, Lean Business System, Lean Manufacturing Production System, First Time Capability philosophies.Oversee the development and creation of a Lean Maintenance Operating System for the? department and all subcontractors? activities. Update the customer on project performance and activities. Communicate directly with management team and Premier Corporate Management team. Lead and coordinate any inter-department or external (plant) communication between the department, respective suppliers, subcontractors or customers as required. Provide required learning resources to the management staff, team leaders, hourly work force and subcontractors. Oversee delivery of services as outlined in scope of work/unit cost sheets, and related service agreement between Premier and our customer.Provide leadership training for management staff, team leaders as well as mentor and coach on-the-job.Evaluate the performance of the management staff, team leaders and provide frequent detailed feedback according to Premier?s policies. Review, approve and conduct the management team member?s performance appraisals. Participate in the hiring process for new employees.Actively participate in the development of the hiring plan, department personnel roles and responsibilities, organization, infrastructure, and base operating system to support launch and transition to full volume production. Preparation and continuous improvement of facilities related PM?s.Populating the CMMS database with maintenance related work orders.Daily performance of technical cleaning services and PM tasks.Ensure all PM?s are performed, work orders closed, time posted, and corrective work orders are generated and performed as required.Coordination of sub-suppliers, if any.Timely and accurate billings for self performed technical cleaning, production equipment maintenance and facilities related services and those performed by sub-contractors. Development, maintaining, and monthly reporting of Scorecard data.

CostResponsible to manage the site budget.Actively drive out waste from all activities through the use of the lean manufacturing production system.Be a student and teacher of the lean manufacturing production system.Responsible for the overall budget.

MoraleCreate a work environment in all service areas which support?s a lean manufacturing culture and positive employee morale.? Resolve any and all employee relations issues for the management staff and team leaders & team members, when required. Follow Premier?s recognition and discipline procedures to maintain high employee morale and discipline in the organization. Distribute, advocate, and discuss organizational information with the team members.

Position Requirements:Minimum of a B.S. Engineering Degree ? Electrical or MechanicalEight plus years experience in maintenance management and supervision role in a similar manufacturing environment and/or 5 - 8 years experience with Facilities House Keeping in a similar position.?
