General Sales Manager and Parts Manager

Central Texas automotive group is looking for self-motivated individuals with aggressive natures as a General Sales Manager and Parts Manager.

 

GSM duties and responsibilities include:

 Manage all aspects of new and pre-owned vehicle inventoriesDetermine monthly forecasts of units, sales, and grossMaintain budget for sales and finance departmentsCoordinate advertising efforts with agencies and media vendorsCreate and maintain high volume in vehicle salesSupervise managers and sales consultants by maintaining company policies and procedures and adhering to federal, state, and local regulationsApprove purchase orders and maintain expense control in sales and finance departmentsOversee the training and certification of all sales and finance personnelMaintain the highest standards in customer satisfaction and quality control

 

MINIMUM 7 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION

Parts Manager duties and responsibilities include:

 Manage the purchase and control of parts inventoryMaintain the purchase order requisition systemReview and approve all inventory invoices for paymentSupervise shipping and receiving of all parcelsFile parts claims with manufacturerKeep parts bins and storage areas clean and organizedControl obsolescence, slow-moving parts, and special order partsEnforce company policies and adhere to federal, state, and local regulationsOptimize freight charges and control rush order chargesStrive for harmony and teamwork with other department managers and personnelOversee the training and certification of all parts personnel Maintain excellent customer relationsDetermine parts monthly forecast and maintain expenses within budgetReconcile parts and miscellaneous inventories to accounting records on a monthly basis
