MATERIALS SUPERVISOR

This person will be responsible for materials, safety, quality, 7S, and QS9000 activities of hourly union Associates. Make sure materials goals, efficiency measures, and customer requirements are met.  Keep Associates informed of decisions and company policies and ensure compliance of work rules for personal conduct and attendance policy.  Maintain standardized work and foster a continuous improvement attitude. Maintain Amtex?s philosophy of providing a safe and healthy work environment. 

 

The ideal candidate must have strong leadership qualities with 4 ? 6 years of supervisor experience.  Prior experience in the automotive industry in a JIT environment would be a plus. Experience in Lean Manufacturing and or TPS also a plus. Strong computer skills plus written and verbal communication skills.
