Pep Boys is looking for qualified management candidates to join our team as Retail Managers, Assistant Retail Managers, Service Managers, Assistant Service Managers and Commercial Sales Managers. 

 
The Retail Manager and Assistant Retail Manager supervise and direct all associates in the retail store, and are responsible for the effective operation of the store to include sales, productivity and profitability.  The Retail Managers are also responsible for ensuring that the store operates under safe conditions according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, county and municipal regulations.  Both positions work closely with the Service Manager to achieve overall sales and operational objectives. 

 

The qualified candidate will have completed two years of college or technical school, or two years related experience in retail management (preferably automotive) and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  The qualified candidate will have a current, valid driver?s license issued in the state of residence.

 

 
The Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager supervise and direct all associates in the service center, and are responsible for the effective operation of the service center to include sales, productivity and profitability.  The Service Managers are also responsible for ensuring that the service center operates under safe conditions according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, county and municipal regulations.  Both positions work closely with the Retail Manager to achieve overall sales and operational objectives.

The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for managing the commercial sales business to include the achievement of sales, expense and profitability objectives.  Ensures the commercial sales department, including the trucks and drivers, operate under safe conditions in compliance with established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, county and municipal regulations. The position works closely with the Retail Manager and field Commercial teams to achieve overall sales and operational objectives.

 

The qualified candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate plus three years of related commercial auto parts wholesale experience.  The qualified candidate will have a current, valid driver?s license issued in the state of residence.  Certifications in the following preferred: Commercial Sales Positional Training, ASE Parts Specialist, Refrigerant Recovery and Safe Driver Certification.
