Position Summary:
Will manage Parts Operations strategies developed to deliver parts process improvement, sustained parts profitability, increased owner retention and CSI. In addition, will focus on initiatives that improve dealer parts sales and dealer parts inventory management practices. Plus, manage incentive campaigns supporting parts sales at retail as well as work closely with the regions and dealers to explore new technology opportunities (such as parts e-commerce and lead management). Other key responsibilities include managing related program budgets, reporting and analysis of programs, and developing dealer communication for associated programs.
Job Duties:
? Manage and improve programs that increase dealer stock order utilization, dealer stock off the shelf fill rate and CSI.
? Manage and improve programs that lower dealer parts obsolescence.
? Manage vendors that provide support to programs such as Remote Managed Inventory.
? Develop new processes and solutions that are designed to meet strategic direction for part sales, profitability, and CSI such as parts DPI (parts department efficiency), parts sales development through collaboration with Parts Marketing and wholesale programs, along with retail dealer business expansion.
? Explore new technology opportunities with the Service Aftersales Planning Manager that apply to dealer parts departments (e.g. e-commerce parts site).
? Manage and support development of parts training curriculum (inventory management, parts DPI, dealer retail and wholesale business development) for DCSMs in conjunction with the Manager of Field Operations.
? Use a combination of performance data (financial statement, dealer system data, program performance) to determine strategic direction for improving MNAO and dealer parts sales and profitability.
? Support fixed operations strategy with other Mazda divisions, departments and regions (e.g. Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Dealer Development, and Marketing Communications)
Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
? 8 or more years of service and parts automotive experience
? Microsoft Office Suite
? Ability to read and understand dealer financial statement
