Materials Analyst Supervisor

Our Bardstown Business Unit is currently seeking a Materials Analyst to join the team. This individual will report to the Materials Manager and be responsible for determining production priorities and setting master production schedules according to the customer's requirements, schedule customer orders, and plan and purchase all components ensuring that all quality needs are met.
Additional responsibilities: work with suppliers to define materials expectations; ensure J.I.T. delivery; ensure the inventory levels within QAD, I-Supply, MLS, and the manufacturing facility are easily identified, constantly challenged, and always aligned.

The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree in business or related field with a minimum of three years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Candidates must have knowledge of QS 9000 requirements, GD&T and PPAP. Understanding of JIT, QAD, I-Supply, ISIR and cost reduction programs are essential. Experience in metal stamping and MFG PRO/QAD is a plus. Understanding and working with MRP and Production Planning Production Control desirable.
