Mechanic Technician II - Mid-Level (Englewood, CO)

Budget Truck Rental has great career opportunities and is currently seeking a Mechanic (Technician II- Mid-Level) at our Denver, CO (Englewood) location. The Technician will perform preventative maintenance and complete standard repairs on gasoline, light diesel, and medium duty trucks.  This position will also diagnose and repair braking systems, air conditioners, and work with basic electrical systems (starting, charging, lighting).  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to effectively follow direction and perform a variety of tasks according to changing volume and business needs
Ability to interpret and understand basic documented standards and procedures including work orders, maintenance, and repair manuals
Ability to exercise creative and independent judgement to occasionally diagnose or repair complex problems
Individual accountability and strong attention to detail to consistently meet and exceed work quality standards
Ability to perform day-to-day physical tasks involving moderately demanding work including: standing, kneeling, crawling, turning, and pushing or lifting moderately heavy objects

 REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS


High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver?s License along with a clean driving record
Must posses all tools required for truck maintenance and most repairs
Minimum of two years automotive maintenance experience with past truck (diesel);
maintenance experience preferred
For job development and advancement, must be willing to take the ASE certification
exams and Budget Truck training courses
Ability to work with and around hazardous materials
Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and listening skills
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
