Municipal Securitization Trade Support Specialist

This position is for a candidate interested in a long term support position on the Securitization Trading Desk.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for managing all operational aspects of Tender Option Bond Trust processing for both Proprietary and Third Party Securitizations
- Perform reconciliations of trust positions with Short Term Remarketing Desk and Trustee
- Assist head of Municipal Securitizations to prepare and circulate legal documents for the creation of TOB trusts
- Coordinate all operational aspects of Total Return Swap business: Draft Confirms, booking TRS trades and related proprietary TOB transactions, validate payments and settlements
- Managing Trust creation and collapse process, which includes:
o Applying for internal security numbers
o Validating internal and NRMSIR security setup
o Submitting estimated Expense memos
o Performing calculations to determine Trust size
o Calculating gain share
o Ensuring delivery of securities
o Managing special redemption process
- Reconciling interest payment amounts and ensuring delivery of correct amount
- Applying for Liquidity
- Preparing legal documents for the creation of a new Trust
o Obtaining the Official Statement for the underlying bond
o Creating first drafts of the documents, and working with Outside Legal Counsel to finalize the documents
o Updating and circulating documents to the Working Group
o Coordinate Trust closings
- Preparing documents for the collapse of an existing Trust

Basic Qualifications
Must have a bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar or related role.

Preferred Qualifications
Must have strong Quantitative skills.
Must be a team player and possess the ability to work well under pressure.
Must be professional and detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize.
