OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for effective direction of all manufacturing and related functions to achieve efficient, economical and timely assembly of our products and to maintain the highest standards of quality and quantity to accomplish manufacturing objectives and to achieve profit and investment return goals.

 

Essential Duties:

 

? Determines and establishes long-range and short-term manufacturing objectives consistent with existing sales, projected forecasts and other factors

? Implements, coordinates and expedites manufacturing operation schedules

? Delegates special assignments and projects pertaining to the administration of the functional departments, the implementation and expediting of manufacturing procedures and operations

? Delegates and oversees development of manpower requirement schedules, etc. as needed

? Reviews manufacturing performance and results and initiates action to correct schedule deviations, excessive costs, material shortages or other deterrent factors

? Is accountable for the selection, promotion, performance and optimum utilization of subordinate managers and administrative personnel and their subordinates

? Acts as an advisor to the Executive Management Team on plant expansion, capital equipment investment and/or other areas where manufacturing is involved or concerned

? Reviews plans and procedures related to sub-contracting, changes in manufacturing methods and procedures, etc.

? Administers staff appraisal programs and recommends salary adjustments, promotions or other status changes

? Keeps informed on new developments, economics and other subjects relative to the continuedsuccess of the Company

? Serves as a member of the Management Review Team

? Performs special assignments as delegated
