Inver Grove Ford, a member of the Saxon Auto Group, has an outside sales force that calls on owners of fleets, offering them the most comprehensive commercial vehicle service program in the Twin Cities market. We also have a similar effort in place for selling wholesale parts to the installer market.

 

Both of these markets have proven so fruitful that we need to bring on additional outside sales staff to handle the available business.

Job Description

 ? To be in the field from 9:00 am ? 3:00 pm Monday through Friday calling on current, past and new customers as directed by the supervising manager.? To cold call at least 5 new prospects daily, dropping off a brochure and business card and obtaining the name, address, and phone number of the primary contact.? To make phone prospecting and follow up phone calls, complete paperwork and other administrative activities from 8:00 am ? 9:00 am, and 3:00 pm ? 5:00 pm.? To follow up on all leads generated by Inver Grove Ford.? To work with supervising manager to identify new prospects.? To be proficient at using an automated contact management system to maintain a database of customers and prospects and to utilize the follow up and communication capabilities of the contact management system provided by Inver Grove Ford.? To make appointments with decision makers for the purpose of making presentations.? To develop new business from current clients.? To reactivate past customers.? To provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to the supervising manager.? To write and deliver quality presentations.
