Nissan North America has several openings for Parts Quality Engineers at our manufacturing facility located in Smyrna, Tennessee and Canton, Mississippi.

 

These positions will provide engineering support to manufacturing operations by identifying the root cause of supplier quality concerns and working with suppliers to develop and implement countermeasures.  Responsibilities also include collecting, analyzing and summarizing data; generating reports and schedules; tracking applied countermeasures and leading supplier quality concern task force efforts.  Positions also interface with suppliers during the launch of new major and minor model changes and include ANPQP and PPAP coordination, early trial support in Japan, launch support during manufacturing build events, post-launch concern resolution activity.

 

Successful candidates will possess a B.S. degree in Engineering plus a minimum of 3 - 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing/quality functions; good leadership, strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, excellent computer skills, are required along with the ability to travel to supplier locations throughout North America.
