Parts Inventory Associate

We are currently searching for a Parts Inventory Associate in our N. Arlington, NJ location.

BASIC PURPOSE
Ensure parts and equipment are available to service equipment and vehicles in order to meet customer needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 1. Issue materials to maintenance personnel and others upon presentation of required documentation.
 2. Receive and store supplies, parts and materials.
 3. Inspect and identify damaged or missing spare parts and tools. Order missing items or repairs.
 4. Coordinate the timely return of damaged and/or improperly shipped materials with vendors.
 5. Issue and account for tools.
 6. Order supplies.
 7. Assist with price comparison to ensure high quality and low price.
 8. Maintain records of supply room transactions, disbursements, receipts, credits, inventory, etc.
 9. Keep accurate logs. 
10. Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
High School Education or G.E.D.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of rental equipment a plus.
Computer literate.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel. Able to read instructions and write legibly in English.
