Android Industries, a successful and growth oriented leader in the fast paced, quickly expanding modular assembly segment of the American automotive industry, has a key leadership position for a seasoned automotive Accounts Manager, at our new, Belvidere, Il assembly and sequencing facility.

Overview

Successful individuals will become members of the operation?s four-person executive management team, which will have full P&L responsibility for the assembly and distribution operations. As such, they will play an active role in performing all aspects of the program launch as well as developing, monitoring and achieving the operation?s annual goals through its ongoing continuous improvement activities, while providing leadership to the 300-plus local team members. This is a career level position with unending responsibility that will provide great personal satisfaction for mature individuals that like to work hard, function well in a team environment and enjoy spending time ?on the production floor? observing, analyzing, questioning, discussing, teaching and leading others in order to continually improve operational performance.

We are seeking a seasoned manager that has gained considerable working knowledge in an automotive manufacturing, assembly or distribution facility with the following experience:

15 years experience in Automotive Manufacturing or Assembly.
5 years experience working directly with a Chrysler Assembly Plant.
Significant involvement in management of an Automotive Suppliers commercial contract with its customer.
Experience working within the Chrysler Assembly plant or supporting the plant through regular on-going contact work.
Proficiency in effectively managing high dollar automotive contracts, using both internal quoting and external purchasing systems.
High degree of interpersonal skills, personal comfort and respect for other people that are necessary to effectively communicate and actively interface with our customer at all levels.
Experience managing the relationship between an Automotive Supplier and its customers.
