Product Development Technician

Must be qualified to operate the following listed, small, shop machinery in support of the Proto-Typing effort associated with development of new or updated products: Bridgeport Milling Machine, Lathe, Vertical Drill Press, Metal Brake, TIG/MIG Welder and Plasmas Cutter (40%).  Consults with design Engineers and make recommendation on produceability of the design (10%).  Must be knowledgeable of manufacturing specifications, able to read blue prints (5%), Performs various assignments/task associated with the manufacture, installation, or repair of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment being developed for, or already in, customer fleets (35%.)  May also be called on to train customer personnel in operation and overhaul of material or equipment purchased from OHE (5%).  Must be a U.S.  Citizen and able to perform International and Domestic travel in support of customer and/or company requirements (5%). Must be able to work in small confined areas.
