Product Structure Analyst - EBU606

Mack Trucks, Inc. is looking to fill a number of Product Structure Analyst positions at their World Headquarters in Allentown, PA.

There is no relocation allowance for these positions.

These positions are included in a UAW Engineering Bargaining Unit.

Overview: 

 In this position, your primary responsibilities will encompass support of the conversion group by management of product structures.  Investigation and review of engineering structures and how they will be implemented into an existing engineering legacy is a crucial element of this position. 

 

Responsibilities:

 Research and analyze engineering product structures, technical authorization and article structures to establish and maintain engineering legacy systems.

 Identify the engineering rules and variant structures required to design and release bills of material.

 Identify and understand engineering drawings with their relationship to assemblies and bills of material.

 Provide information to the change coordinators/manufacturers for parts management and inventory including reviews on archived arrangements.

 

 

Technical Skills and or Experience:

 Requires a min. of 1-2 years of practical experience in document control/change management in support of engineering design.  Bachelor?s degree preferred in an engineering related field and or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience is required.  Additional requirements include experience within the following environments:

? Mainframe systems, engineering standards and drawing practices.

? Expertise with product development and release processes.

? Familiarity with and experience in product structure methodology.
