Position Summary:
Responsible for managing market concerns resolution and technical information between AAI PVT, MNAO-Technical Services, MC and Ford FCSD. Must interface with Mazda Technical Services Division and Lead Vehicle Engineering / Manufacturing personnel in resolving top product issues presented through the SAQ and Top 20 Market reports. Required to take the lead in negotiating an amicable solution to market concerns with MC and AAI PVT and mediate the resolution progress from start to finish.

Essential Duties:
1. Monitor critical market issues with Field Technical Support Engineer and PVT. Assist in developing situational analysis. Maintain concerns tracking report (TACO) and responsible for creating and monitoring Top 20 Market Concern Summary.
2. Prioritize issues that will have the greatest market impact. Create Field Quality Information Reports (FQIR) / Kaizen Reports (KR) and develop countermeasures for resolution objectives not being met. Must be the voice of MNAO to ensure that our customer?s needs are addressed in a timely and adequate manner.
3. Work with the various departments within MNAO to develop countermeasures, determine contact person and expedite solution with AAI / PVT.
4. Interact with AAI PVT, backbone engineering, suppliers, and various Mazda entities for developing resolutions to market concerns.
5. Provide maximum support to MNAO departments in regards to recalls, port reworks, mis-builds, technical questions, parts shortages, publication discrepancies and accessories.
6. Participation & preparation in PVT meetings to voice MNAO market concerns with MC coordination.
7. Closely interact with VQA, plant & port, to disseminate information regarding QCCP to Mazda entities.
8. Responsible for eMQF questionnaire updates and it?s use in monitoring the effectiveness of production countermeasures that address product quality concerns.

Education (Minimum) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) A bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics or technical area with emphasis in automotive technology.

Experience 3-5 years A strong automotive background with experience in quality and statistical analysis, including use of tools and techniques for process improvement, is desired.

Requires excellent computer skills, including Excel, iGraphx, and PowerPoint. This position requires an individual with drive, outstanding written and oral communication skills, problem-solving skills, a passion for precision, ability to multi-task, and excellent organizational skills. Must work well in a team environment with other engineers within Technical Services, AAI and FCSD, yet be self-directed and work independently to conduct investigations and prepare reports to resolve potential concerns and improve quality. A strong knowledge of automotive systems is a must.
