Job Description :   Convergys Corporation is currently seeking consultants at various levels for a start up Professional Services Group that is experiencing significant growth supporting our telecommunication industry clients.  Convergys Professional Services is the provider of choice for BSS and CRM solutions in the communications industry. These positions will require 30%-90% travel depending upon our client locations and are an ideal fit for a professional with previous experience at Big 4 type companies.

 

We have specific opportunities for Business Analyst Consultants.

 

Responsibilities will include:
* Gather and document functional requirements
* Define solution designs
* Perform application gap analysis
* Design and implement application configurations
* Develop and execute test plan and cases
* Functional and industry business process knowledge
* Requirements gathering and gap analysis

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

The ideal Business Analyst Consultant candidate will have the following specific skills and experience:
* 1-5 yrs experience with at least 1-2 in consulting
* Professional Services consulting experience with Big Four or equivalent type companies specifically involved in IT, process and strategic consulting and systems integration and /or technical architecture

 

In addition, the preferred candidate will have the following general skills and experience:
* Experience in building and managing strong long-term relationships with business partners and clients
* Ability to take ownership and help direct multiple resources
* Demonstrated Project Management & Implementation Management skills
* Telecommunication experience and industry knowledge ? Cable, Wireless, Wireline, OSS / BSS solutions

* VOIP- Revenue Assurances

* MVNO
* Broad knowledge of billing / customer care industry
* Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
* Demonstrate solid client facing skills and excellent communication skills
* Team-oriented with a collaborative operating style
* Articulate and effective communicator, able to influence others through sound judgment and good sense
* Perform well under pressure in ambiguous situations and can think on their feet.
