Quality Assurance & Risk Generalist

Your job is part of the Quality Assurance (QA) function reporting to the Head of QA for Banking Products. In addition, there is a dual reporting line into the Product the QA Generalist will be supporting. QA supports operational risk, SOX, business continuity planning and audit. You will enhance existing or establish robust processes, operational controls, and documentation. Where appropriate, you will also ensure integration into the Product Control Plan (Control Plan). In addition to scheduled work within the Control Plan context, you will conduct self-directed, ad-hoc reviews and as directed by QA, line management, and P&S RQM. You will also be required to manage the "outcome" and follow-up of such review through to a successful conclusion. Your new role will require you to be a delivery-oriented project manager with experience in the financial industry. You will need to be a pro-active trouble-shooter, seeking continuous improvements to quality and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with project management experience and track record of delivery. You have 3-5 years of Banking/Financial Services experience. You may have experience in a financial reporting/controlling area, project management, and workflow or have participated in one of the Associate programs at UBS. You have the ability to collate data, perform analysis and derive qualitative reports based on findings. You have strong analytical and conceptual skills, planning/organizing skills and a structured work approach. You also have strong written and oral communication in English, as well as strong analytical and quantitative skills. You have strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project.
