Quality Systems Engineer

The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for documenting and facilitating the training and implementation of ISO-9001:2000 quality system requirements in a multi-location recycling/refurbishing and distribution environment. Provides assistance in the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement efforts of current and future documented systems. Supports other Quality Assurance department initiatives as needed, including product testing, defect investigation, supplier assessments and working with manufacturers in addressing product deficiencies.
Requires strong quality background with experience in ISO 9001, QS-9000 or TS-16949 Quality Systems. Experience using various measuring tools and equipment also required. Must possess strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Experience in the automotive field is preferred. Supplier Development experience considered a plus.
