Sales Engineer

The Sales Representative / Account Manager / Product Manager position is accountable to the Vice President/GM of the Automotive / Industrial Group for Dekko Technologies located in North Webster. These objectives include developing and maintaining relationships along with seeking new opportunities for growth with several key accounts.

..........and much More    REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate will have a minimum of five years experience managing key customer accounts successfully and a Bachelors Degree in Production, Operations Management or Business. Travel will be required, including international travel.

Duties include:

1. Develop Business Plan for customer projects. This includes setting strategic direction for each project: Financial evaluation, ensuring P.I.?s and BOM?s are created accurately, tooling cost and piece part price are communicated timely and start of production timelines are achieved.

2. Key contact to assigned customers for Dekko Technologies. Manage all opportunities for quotation and negotiate agreements to maximize the profitability of Dekko Technologies.

3. Identify and develop profitable business opportunities for Dekko Technologies. Create business plans that quantify opportunities, competitive differentiation, investment required, and returns expected.

4. Create strategic plans for your area of responsibility; participate in corporate strategy sessions to create the overall strategy for Dekko Technologies, present as required. Carry out strategic plans within area of responsibility.

5. Represent all DTI products and capabilities during customer visits / sales presentations.

6. Create timely trip reports and meeting reports to document important discussions and action items.

7. Identity patent opportunities or other barriers to entry for new and existing products.

8. Project Management including knowledge of APQP, DFEMA, PPAP

9. Participate in lean events.

10. Attend all sales meetings.
