Recruiting for a SALES PRODUCT SPECIALIST based in St. Louis, Missouri

The Sales Product Specialist is in charge of his/her sales in a specified territory of franchise dealers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sell DealerTrack's web-based products to dealers, including Desking Solutions and Menu Solutions and other products to be launched in the near future. Ability to convince dealer owner/GM about the advantages at bottom line level of using DealerTrack products. Acts as a problem solver/consultant regarding DealerTrack products. Prospects and illustrates the need for DealerTrack products. Be pro active and initiate contacts with dealerships to generate leads through 'cold calls' Be able to approach customers according to their style and needs (be situational) Generate referrals from actual or potential customers. Act as a central resource to customers for technical issues related to our products. Collaborate with our product management team in developing new products.  Travel is required.

REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree preferred 5-7 years of related experience in outside sales or business to business sales 5-7 years of car dealership experience 2 years of experience selling web-based subscription products (or similar) to car dealers Ability to develop relationships with owners and/or General Managers of dealerships Above average computer skills are essential, including utilizing the Internet Planning and prospecting skills Proficient in time and territory management Good networking skills for prospecting and referrals Excellent oral, written, presentation, analytical, and listening skills Knowledge of web-based products Problem solving skills

We offer a competitive base salary for this position plus an unlimited upside on a sales commission plan. We reimburse for mileage due to business traveling; up to $300/month in phone expenses and up to $50/month in Internet provider service.
