Sales Support - Aftermarket

The Aisin Group is the 6th largest auto supplier in the world, with worldwide sales of over $17 billion and North American sales approaching $3 billion.

 

Aisin World Corporation of America, the North American sales organization for the Aisin Group, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Specialist, Sales Support, Aftermarket. This position will be based in our aftermarket sales group office located in Torrance, CA.



This position is responsible for supporting sales activities in our aftermarket parts division.  Specific responsibilities include the following:

- Maintain effective communications with customers.

- Process customer orders and deliveries.

- Coordinate orders with suppliers to minimize back orders.

- Monitor fill rates, order variances, product trends and part updates.

- Resolve customer issues through effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

- Evaluate and process warranty claims and payments.

- Monitor and collect past due payments from customers.

- Other tasks and duties as assigned.


 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

- 3 years of related sales support experience, preferably in automotive aftermarket.

- Demonstrated customer relations skills.

- Excellent computer skills, including a thorough working knowledge of AS400, JBA, Future 3, MSWord, Excel and Access.

- A/R and collections experience.

- TS quality system experience.

- Experience in a diverse workplace is preferred.

- Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required.

- Spanish and/or Japanese language skills preferred.
