Senior Manufacturing Engineer

TK Holdings Inc., (Takata) is a global tier 1 automotive supplier of airbags, seat belts, steering wheels, interior trim, and occupant detection systems. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer within our Farmington Hills facility.

Responsibilities:

Introduction of new products and processes to manufacturing units

Development of various tooling, test fixtures and capital equipment

Engage electrical engineers and the manufacturing facility from design and prototype development through product launch to ensure schedule, cost and quality objectives are met.

Primary technical contact wiht contract manufacturers and custom electrical component suppliers

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (REQUIRED)

-At least 7-10 years experience in a modern electronics manufacturing environment

-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project

-Ability to travel internationally up to 25%
